The cosy yet spacious accommodation with it's beautiful decor and soft furnishings by Laura Ashley, offers a large sitting room, a very well equipped and newly fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and pretty loft double bedroom with extra single sofa bed. We regret that we do not accept pets apart from guide dogs.There is a no smoking policy throughout the house.
Hidden away through the stair well, true to it’s name, is a lovely new kitchen with soft leather chairs in front of a wood burning stove and garden views. It is the perfect place to enjoy a good book and toast your toes in front of the fire on a cooler day. There is a window overlooking the garden and an ancient washtub which is filled with flowers in the Summer. The well equipped kitchen has an oven and ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and great range of crockery, cook ware and cutlery including the essential bottle opener to start your holiday!
The lovely large sittingroom has views of the open Ayrshire countryside and the setting sun. It has a comfortable sofa and arm chairs, dining table and chairs, tv and DVD and an electric log effect stove.
The Cottage Bedroom
The large romantic loft bedroom has gently sloping ceilings and has been furnished and decorated to ensure you have a restful and enjoyable experience. It has a very comfortable bed with deep back care mattress and white cotton bedding to guarantee you have a good nights sleep. The windows overlook the garden to give you plenty of light and fresh country air. This room has a maximum ceiling height of 6ft 8ins
The bathroom and rear hall
The rear hall has a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board, central heating boiler and access to the bathroom and garden. The modern, fresh bathroom has a full sized bath, over bath electric shower, is fully tiled and has non slip floor tiles. Enjoy a touch of luxury with Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait toiletries, large soft fluffy towels and bathrobes.
The Cottage Garden
There is a door to the garden with gravelled sitting area, flower border and lawn, a lovely place to have a coffee or glass of wine on a warm day.
