Lilac Bank Bed and Breakfast, Crosshill, Maybole

Lilac Bank B&B

Welcome to Lilac Bank where we offer peace and tranquillity in our sympathetically restored, early 19 century weaver’s cottage in the rural conservation village of Crosshill near Maybole, surrounded by the rolling hills of South Ayrshire. On arrival, unwind and relax with a cup of tea or coffee and home baking. Enjoy our full Scottish breakfast in front of the wood burning stove or in a quiet corner of our peaceful garden, before experiencing one of our beautiful local walks or taking a short drive to view the stunning South Ayrshire coastline. We are on National Cycle Route 7 and can provide safe cycle storage.

Experience the rugged beauty of Culzean Castle, by Maybole, the lovely South Ayrshire beaches or a twenty minute drive into the town of Ayr for shopping and restaurants. You may wish to visit Burns cottage, the birthplace of Robert Burns in Alloway en route to Ayr. We are close to the northern edge of The Galloway Forest Park which is a designated Dark Sky Park.  An hour will take you into Glasgow or take a 40 minute trip up the coast to the ferry port of Ardrossan for a day across the water in Arran.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is made up of a double bedroom with extra bed if required, sitting room and bathroom all in the same soft colour scheme and for your own use. We hope the soft white towels, Out of Eden toiletries and well stocked tea tray will make your experience in our B&B even more memorable. A further double bedroom is available, please contact us for details.
